She only manages to pick up one fare\u2014a woman and her daughter\u2014for a short ride, earning $20. Despite trying to attract more customers, she struggles to get business throughout the day. Simone gains a newfound respect for pedicab drivers, realizing the physical effort, business skills, and alertness required to do the job safely.
